EFER ENDOSCOPY silicone stents benefit from the patented SUPERGLASS™ finish which results from the combination of a mirror-like polish of the injection moulds and the vacuum deposition of a thin layer of biocompatible polymer having hydrophobic properties and of low frictional coefficient. The surface quality hence obtained facilitates the flow of organic secretions inside the stent, limits granuloma formation around the edges and eases loading in the stent introducer tube.
Designed and manufactured by EFER ENDOSCOPY, the EFER-SUPERGLASS™ stent line meets the most common requirements needing stent placement. EFER also supplies on specific request models destined for less common cases.
